We understand education is the best way to empower others. As a result, we strive to maintain the health of our community and give opportunities by providing ongoing education in many areas such as mental health, academic, economic, and agroecological. You
can help us connect with like-minded donors to support the individuals needing these services to improve their lives.
Our "Circle of Love" - Women's Business is designed to provide financial independence and empowerment to disenfranchised women. We give each woman $200 to start a business to overcome their poverty status and care for their children. Business professionals mentor the women to ensure their businesses thrive. They repay the startup cost in installment payments of $20 monthly, which are then passed on to other women awaiting the same process.
Ecological health is vital to any community and developing countries are prone to natural disasters. As such, we have a goal to help replenish destroyed resources. We engage the Businesswomen in environmental stewardship and teach them the importance and benefits of agroecology. Each woman is given a fruit tree to plant in her yard. The woman does not pay any interest on her business loan if the tree in her care grows and bears fruit. Join us as we plant and replace hardy trees, flora, and food supplies and teach others how to sustain the environment.
Donations to SOW educational projects will contribute to the survival of many in need.

We provide giveaways on an ongoing basis to support our community-academic health. We distribute backpacks with school supplies; books, and shoes. The students have indicated this project uplifts their spirit, boosts their self-esteem, and helps them establish their readiness to learn. Without this program, these students, especially in developing countries, would walk to school barefooted and empty handed.
Now more than ever, our community desperately needs mental health services. Our volunteers conduct workshops on mental health
to target and overcome the stigma of "mental illness." We empower and encourage those in need to seek psychological care for them-
selves and their loved ones. We provide pro bono mental health treatment as well.
Hunger remains a worldwide issue. We do our best to give hope to the disenfranchised in our community. We hold an Annual Feeding Event when we feed more than 200 children and adults on the first days of the New Year. These individuals look forward to this event because they believe that eating a great meal at the beginning of the year is a blessing which means they will not go hungry for the rest of the New Year. We feed them a well-balanced meal with a drink and dessert, all free of cost.
Uplift the morale of a student by donating $50.00 to this project.
Join our volunteers to conduct or assist with mental health workshops.
Donate $20 to help keep our Feeding Project alive.

As of April 2022, SOW was called upon to assist three children who recently lost their mother. Thankfully, a generous woman rose to the occasion and accepted to sponsor the orphans. There are more orphans who are awaiting
sponsorship. You can help a child thrive with less than THREE dollars a day. Won't you?
Sponsor an orphan for $50/monthly.
